Provision of Services by Electronic Means

These Terms constitute the regulations for the provision of services by electronic means within the meaning of Article 8 of the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services.

The Service Provider provides Users with a service consisting of using the functionalities made available within the Bitcoin Poland Website.

To cooperate with the IT system used by the Service Provider, the User must have equipment and a system meeting the following technical requirements: a computer with a web browser with enabled “cookies” and JavaScript, and an Internet connection; a correctly configured mobile device with enabled “cookies” and JavaScript, and access to data transmission and a mobile network.

The Service Provider stipulates that using the services specified in these Terms may involve standard risks associated with using the Internet and recommends that Users take appropriate steps to minimize them. The Service Provider ensures the operation of the ICT system, which enables the use of the service provided by electronic means in a way that prevents unauthorized access to the content of the message constituting this service, in particular using cryptographic techniques appropriate for the properties of the service provided, as well as unambiguous identification of the parties to the service provided by electronic means. In the event of planned breaks, modernizations, or other similar cases, the Service Provider has the right to notify Users via the provided e-mail address or generally on the website.

The User’s consent to use the services covered by the Terms may be withdrawn at any time. Termination of the agreement for the provision of services by electronic means based on these Terms is carried out upon the User’s request to delete their data. Within 14 days of receiving the User’s request, the Service Provider shall delete the User’s Personal Data from the Service Provider’s database, provided that such data has been stored.

In matters not covered by these Terms regarding the provision of electronic services, the generally applicable provisions of law, including in particular the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services, shall apply.

Functionalities of the Bitcoin Poland Website

The following functionalities are available on the Website: the possibility of obtaining information on the subject of activity and services provided by the Service Provider; the possibility of ordering a free Email Notification Service consisting of delivering a specially prepared set of information for Users about services and goods offered by entities from the financial services market (including investment), luxury goods, automotive, real estate, education, and IT technology, sent to the email address indicated by the User; the possibility of registering participation in events organized by the Service Provider; the possibility of voting in a competition organized by the Service Provider. To use the Email Notification Service, enter your email address in the registration form and check the box with the statement: “I want to receive free Email Notifications constituting a set of information about services and goods prepared by the Bitcoin Poland Website offered by entities from the financial services market (including investment), luxury goods, automotive, real estate, education, and IT technology. I have been enabled to read the terms of provision of electronic services.” For the avoidance of any doubt, the Service Provider informs that the Email Notification Service constitutes requested commercial information within the meaning of Art. 10 sec. 2 of the Act on the Provision of Electronic Services. The User may resign from the Email Notification Service at any time by sending an e-mail with the subject “Unsubscribe” to the address: gdpr@bitcoin-poland.com.

Complaints

The following rules apply to complaints regarding services provided by electronic means: Users of the Bitcoin Poland Website have the right to submit complaints regarding services available through the Website. Complaints may be submitted by post to the Service Provider’s address: Hi World! Sp. z o.o., ul. Mokotowska 1, 00-640 Warsaw, with a note that the complaint concerns the “Bitcoin Poland Website,” or to the e-mail address: gdpr@bitcoin-poland.com. The complaint should include: name and surname of the person submitting the complaint; residential address and e-mail address of the person submitting the complaint; a detailed description of the event constituting the basis for the complaint; an indication of the demands of the person submitting the complaint. Complaints may be submitted within 60 (sixty) days from the date of the event being the basis for the complaint. In the case of a complaint submitted by post, the date of the postmark on the envelope determines compliance with the deadline; in the case of an e-mail complaint, the date of sending the e-mail applies. The Service Provider will not consider a complaint if the submitter has not met the conditions referred to in section 3 or has not met the deadline referred to in section 4 above. The Service Provider shall consider complaints within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of delivery of the complaint. After exhausting the complaint procedure, the User has the right to pursue unsatisfied claims in a common court having jurisdiction over the Service Provider’s registered office. The Service Provider is responsible for the conduct of the complaint procedure.
